lela.mlenze is a clothing brand established in 2018 by Pumelela Mlenze. It’s primary purpose is to blur the line of gender difference perpetuated through fashion. We believe that the line has created gender binary, particularly in menswear. By conforming to the social norm of menswear that encourages dull aesthetics, men have given up their freedom to adorn themselves in decorated garments. lela.mlenze celebrates men’s freedom of self-expression through fashion and adorning in elaborate garments.
